As supplied condition: Soft-annealed to max. 229 HB (770 N / mm2) Hot work steel with high heat resistance with very good toughness, high thermal shock resistance and wear resistance, nitridable, easy to polish.
Applications: Tools for forging machines, dies, die inserts, extrusion dies, hot shear knives and for plastics processing. *Depending on the application, it is recommended preheating the forming tool.
